Affiliate Disclosure

FTC Disclosure Compliance Rules

The Federal Trade Commission released its new rules for Disclosure Compliance In 2015.

These rules are set to ensure that web media viewers or readers know if the blogger or publisher is endorsed, sponsored, or partnered with a different company. The readers need to know if the content publisher is making money by sharing a product or link.

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about posts and links on this site:

Any/all of the links on are affiliate links for which I receive a small compensation from sales of certain items.

What Are Affiliate Links?

Purchases are made on external affiliate company websites. When a reader clicks on an affiliate link located on to purchase an item, the reader buys the item directly from the seller (not from the monitors hub).

Amazon and Walmart or other companies pay monitors hub a small commission or further compensation for helping to bring customers to their websites.

The prices of the products were same for readers whether they purchase through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. Clicking an affiliate link and clicking a non-affiliate link does not change the price of the items or anything else for the visitor.

Thanks for reading. Have a nice day.
